Guaranty Trust Bank Uganda (GTCO) is hiring. The bank is regulated by the Bank of Uganda; customer deposits are protected by the Deposit Protection Fund up to UGX 10 million (terms and conditions apply).
Reports to: Team Leader, Clearing & Foreign Operations.
Key responsibilities
- Process and validate all inward cheques from the clearing house.
- Resolve clearing system problems.
- Monitor and correct customer transaction errors.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and prevent penalties.
- Follow up on reconciliation discrepancies.
