Client Relations Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Q-Sourcing is looking for a Client Relations Assistant on a maternity cover basis in Kampala. You will be the main contact for investors, handling queries and onboarding while keeping every interaction within regulatory and compliance rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main link between clients and the Operations, Business Development, Risk and Compliance teams
• Provide professional, personal service to high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors and corporate clients
• Resolve client queries, requests and complaints promptly and track cases in the CRM system
• Handle inbound and outbound call centre contacts and attend to walk-in clients
• Keep clients updated on new investment offerings, market insights and company news
• Manage client onboarding, including collecting and verifying documents and meeting KYC and AML requirements
• Keep client records accurate, complete and up to date
• Support deposits, redemptions and withdrawals, processing them accurately and on time
• Look for ways to streamline workflows and make better use of technology
• Follow AML, sanctions and compliance policies, and escalate suspicious activity to the Risk and Compliance Office

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in client relations, customer service, operations or investor services in financial services, banking or investment management
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
