Maids Officer

Lafab Solutions in Ntinda, Kampala is hiring a full-time Maids Officer to run its domestic workers placement service end to end, from finding clients and sourcing workers to vetting, placement and follow-up. The Officer reports to the Business Operations Manager / CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the Maids service through client acquisition by phone, WhatsApp, referrals and partnerships, and convert enquiries into paying customers.
• Source and interview housemaids, nannies, cooks, housekeepers, caregivers and other domestic workers, and keep an organised database of them.
• Make sure workers are screened and vetted before placement, including identity, qualification and reference checks, medical examinations and background checks with consent.
• Manage clients from first enquiry through to successful placement, including replacements and post-placement follow-up.
• Manage agents and referral partners.
• Monitor sales, placements, customer satisfaction and finances against targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, sales and marketing, social sciences or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, domestic worker placement, business development, customer service or operations management.
• Proven ability to generate leads, acquire clients and convert enquiries into sales.
• Ability to keep databases, operational records and performance reports; experience managing agents or referral partners is an added advantage.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, organisational and integrity skills, and familiarity with WhatsApp Business, digital marketing and CRM tools.
