The Simba Group, in partnership with VAS Global Services, is recruiting a Receptionist for a Visa Application Centre in Kampala. As the first point of contact for applicants, you will manage the front desk, guide customers through the process and help deliver a smooth, professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome applicants, verify appointments and manage queue tokens.
- Guide applicants on visa procedures and answer their questions professionally.
- Direct applicants to the correct counters and keep applicant flow smooth.
- Protect data confidentiality and follow security guidelines.
- Keep daily logs and basic reports, and support day-to-day operations.

- A High School Diploma at minimum; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 1–2 years of customer-service or front-office experience.
- Experience in travel, visa, airport or service-centre settings is an advantage.
- Basic Microsoft Office and systems skills.
- Fluency in English and a local language.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing role and willing to work shifts when required.
