The Simba Group, in partnership with VAS Global Services, is recruiting a Receptionist for a Visa Application Centre in Kampala. As the first point of contact for applicants, you will manage the front desk, guide customers through the process and help deliver a smooth, professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome applicants, verify appointments and manage queue tokens.
  • Guide applicants on visa procedures and answer their questions professionally.
  • Direct applicants to the correct counters and keep applicant flow smooth.
  • Protect data confidentiality and follow security guidelines.
  • Keep daily logs and basic reports, and support day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma at minimum; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of customer-service or front-office experience.
  • Experience in travel, visa, airport or service-centre settings is an advantage.
  • Basic Microsoft Office and systems skills.
  • Fluency in English and a local language.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing role and willing to work shifts when required.
