Senior HSES Specialist

McDermott is hiring a Senior HSES Specialist at Kasenyi Village, Buliisa.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the McDermott HSES Management System, taking account of the company, the client and legal requirements
• Drive a consistent, risk-based HSES culture
• Develop and apply HSES plans, procedures and instructions required by the contract
• Take part in risk assessments and keep risk registers up to date
• Schedule HSES activities, including inspections, audits and emergency response

Requirements

• Degree or diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in an HSES-related field
• Trained and experienced ISO lead auditor (9001, 14001 or 45001)
• Able to work as a team member and as a team leader
• Communication and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Project
