Industrial Boiler & Steam Technician

Dalilang Foods & Beverages is hiring an Industrial Boiler & Steam Technician in Namanve, Mukono.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate biomass and diesel-fired boilers to supply steam to blanchers, jacketed cookers and sanitation lines
• Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair steam systems
• Apply lockout/tagout and energy isolation before intrusive maintenance
• Carry out preventive maintenance checks and log early warning signs of failure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, higher or ordinary diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Plant Maintenance, Chemical Technology or a closely related field; or a national certificate, craft or trade certificate or TVET apprenticeship
• Boiler pressure safety, water treatment testing and steam trap repair
• Combustion tuning and technical diagnostics
