Thermal Baking Oven Operator

Dalilang Foods & Beverages is hiring a Thermal Baking Oven Operator in Namanve, Mukono.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate baked snack conveyor ovens and auxiliary equipment following approved start-up, changeover and shutdown procedures
• Regulate multi-zone temperatures, exhaust airflow and belt speeds within authorised limits
• Run routine visual, weight, temperature and moisture checks against quality specifications
• Separate defective products promptly
• Clean and sanitise equipment, including allergen controls

Requirements

• Ordinary or National Diploma in Food Processing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Technology, Industrial Maintenance or Applied Sciences; or a relevant national, craft or technical trade certificate or TVET training
• Temperature regulation and thermal profiling
• Familiarity with PLC and HMI screens
• Operational record keeping and shift handover
